The Brusho pieces were inspired by, bubbles, rainbows, rainy puddles and memories of Ben playing and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. I tried to work expressively and instinctively attempting to capture a mood or emotional connection to my concept.
I used a lot of water, creating pools for the ink to settle, hoping to capture movement in the work. Already I can see a colour palette forming.
